“Time spent with others creates an atmosphere that is warm, relaxed, friendly, down-to-earth, close, comfortable, snug, and welcoming.” —Meik Wiking, The Little Book of Hygge
With the beauty of the natural surroundings, this retreat offers rest, community, and reflection as we share our concerns and hopes for the work of faith formation ministry. Be prepared to connect with the Sacred through slow, intentional walks, journaling, silent space, and conversations. This is a time to leave the stresses of your work at the church and reenergize your calling in faith formation.
Whether you are clergy, lay leaders, paid, or volunteer, you are welcome to join in the conversation of what faith formation may become post-pandemic.
Rev. Kevin Brown, Associate Conference Minister of Faith Formation for Children and Youth, will facilitate the conversations throughout the weekend, offering insights and ideas from several sources, such as Springtide Research Institute.
This event is underwritten by the Ashley Endowment.
