Youth Lead Now: Equipping Young Leaders for Social Change
Thursday, August 6, 7:00-8:30 pm (CDT)
Youth and young adult leaders (and their adult supporters) from around the Minnesota Conference UCC are invited to take part in this webinar that is part of the Conference’s “Justice Talk to Justice Walk” series. Our guest speaker will be Samantha Fuentes, a survivor of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida on February 14, 2018, and leader in the March for Our Lives movement that emerged from that horrific event. Ms. Fuentes will share her experiences and provide her perspective about equipping and supporting youth and young adults organizing for social change and building justice-focused movements.
